About Utah Pools

One company, one phone number,
for every pool problem in Utah.

Service, repair, chemistry, openings, closings, salt, heat, automation, inspection, hot tubs, retail, and new construction (handled by our build team, Pools by Dip). The pool industry usually makes you stitch this together yourself across four phone numbers and a guy named Doug. We just do all of it.

The gap we filled

One company, not four phone numbers.

Most Utah pool owners tell us a version of the same story. They needed chemistry — they went to Sunplay or Leslie's. They needed weekly service — they called a service-only company. The pump failed — different repair shop. They needed a spring opening — back to the service company. Each interaction was with a different business, none of them did the others well, pricing was hidden everywhere, and the tech at the gate was a different person each week. By the time they called us, they weren't looking for cheaper. They were looking for one company that did all of it.

That's the gap we fill. We do everything to your pool, from supply, service, repair, seasonal, equipment, hot tub, and inspection through to new construction. New construction is a different craft, so our build team operates under the Pools by Dip banner, and they're how we build precast, plunge, and custom gunite pools across Northern Utah. Everything that happens to your pool, from before the dig to the day it's drained, we own.

And we do it with the four obvious things every pool company should do but most don't: publish the price, stock real product, run a route every week, and send a photo when the work is done.

Hard at the tap, clear in the pool.

Wasatch water comes out rough and our chemistry's tuned for exactly that, so every visit gets tested, balanced, and photographed before the truck rolls off your driveway.

The rules

Four things we won't argue about.

Prices on the page.

We have three weekly plans, every add-on flat-rated, and chemistry priced on the shelf, all visible before you ever pick up the phone. If we can't commit to a number in writing, you should probably hire someone else, and we'll genuinely tell you that.

Same tech, same Tuesday.

Routes are locked, your tech is the same person every week, and that person knows whether your dog is friendly. The whole industry's been doing this the other way for decades and somehow nobody noticed it was a choice.

A photo, every time.

Every visit ends with a photo of your pool and a chemistry readout in your phone, before the truck leaves your driveway. You'll know we came and you'll know what your pH was, even if you have absolutely no intention of looking.

Tuned for Utah, not Phoenix.

Utah water comes out of the tap at 18 to 24 grains per gallon, our UV is brutal, our season runs about 20 weeks, and we get snow load on covers. Our chemistry, equipment picks, and seasonal calendar all account for that, instead of pretending the national franchise manual works fine here.

The build team, and the small print

New pools, plus three things we'll just tell you.

New construction runs under our build team, Pools by Dip. Precast, custom gunite, plunge, hot tub install, saunas. Different craft, separate brand identity, same company. If you want a new pool, you start a conversation with us and the build team picks it up.

Beyond builds, there are three operational lines we're upfront about:

  • We service anywhere between Utah County and Cache County. Weekly routes run Mon–Fri through Weber, Davis, and Morgan. Salt Lake, Utah, and Cache County work runs on scheduled boundary routes out of our Ogden and Bountiful shops. Statewide pool owners outside that arc can still order chemistry and equipment from our shelves and have it shipped.
  • We don't pressure-sell equipment you don't need. If your single-speed pump from 2003 is still working, we'll tell you to wait — even though the DOE mandate in 2027 will eventually force a replacement.
  • We don't sell long-term service contracts. Cancel any month, no fee. Our retention comes from doing the work right, not from making you sign a year-long agreement up front.
